I feel foolish for asking but I can't get the door panels off on my 82 300SD. I have never had problems with my other Mercedes. I have windows to fix before it rains. Help.

What part are you having trouble with? I just pulled off all 4 door panels on my '83 300SD prior to repainting and can offer some help. Maybe someone else here can give you a quick rundown of the steps (I don't remember from memory!) but I will mention to "lift" the door panel from the door, not pull it away like you do on most other cars. The door panels on these cars have hooks rather than plastic pin-type fasteners. Don't want to break those hooks! Ask me how I know :<

Ok, got them off. problem was at some point in history a coke or someother beverage made its way into the door and everything was like glued together. Thanks for the reply.

I had a heater hose break one morning at 4am in the rain and didn't notice the engine baking itself. Now I have a warped head. It will become a project car. I did like that car.
