I just had the head gasket changed and the head tested and its OK. The problem is that there is still a lot of pressure building up in the cooling system but no oil!!!!!What next?

Is it possible that there's a crack in a cylinder liner? A leakdown test at TDC wouldn't catch a crack below the piston rings.

Was the person/shop that handled the head gasket and head check intimately familiar with these engines?

Lemme just say connecting rods before anyone else does :)
