1982-280sl-110 eng---hesitation
 

I have a 82-280slGray market) mercedes--110 engine--fuel injected.It has been in storage about two years.After starting it---it hesitates bbadly when you rev the engine.I have drained the fuel,replaced the fuel pump(electric) and fuel filter.Still no improvement.Afterleting it run for about 15 min----the problem cleared up.Then,after siting for several hours---the same problem developed.I have checkked the timing--its ok.Sure coiuld use some suggestions.:

Since the car sat for a long time & the fuel system was damaged, I would check the system cold fuel pressure vs the system control pressure.
The control pressure is controlled by the warm-up regulator & that regulator is easily damaged by varnished fuel just like the fuel pump.

i WILL TRY THE SUGGESTION.tHIS AM----I LET IT WARM UP FOR ABOOUT15 MIN AND IT WAS FINE--COLD--IT STILL HEAITATED.AGAIN,THANKS
