I seem to have a intermintant running problem. The car seems to get a vacuum leak and run poorly. The guage on the dash moves up at idle when it is happening. When it is really bad, there is no accel until you almost floor the pedal, then it takes off.It happens hot and cold. You can shut the car off when it is happening and the problem will go away for awhile. The idle drops and the idle gets rough.I have heard that the intake manifold can devolpe intake leaks. Please help. Thanks to all

Sounds as if you should replace the over voltage relay and see if that helps. The key is shutting it down and starting over. This will reset the relay.
