I recently replaced the pads on my 86 300E,(four wheel disc), the brake light stays on. The parking brake seems to be just a little loose where as the light stays on. If I take my foot and pull on the brake just a little, the light goes off. How can I adjust the parking brake?

Under the car, over the drive shaft is a yolk with a cantilever and adjustment screw. It sounds like you've got a little too much slack. Take a few turns on the adjustor screw until the pedal stays in the released position. Make sure your parking brake sets properly. Should feel fairly snug after about 7-8 clicks.
