U.S. and European parts. Help Please.
For a U.S. and European model 1984 500 SEC the Idle control valves have mercedes part numbers 000 141 12 25 and 000 141 14 25 respectively. Are these parts identical? If not, how do they differ? I believe the VDO number for the U.S. part is 408 202 001 003. Can anyone confirm this? Does anyone know the European VDO number? Is there anywhere on-line that one can cross reference Mercedes and VDO part numbers? I have inadvertently mixed up idle control valves and one is without marking and the other is only showing the VDO number. I would like to correctly return the valves to their proper vehicles. I have become careless and my memory is on the wane. Thank you in advance for any replies
