Can anyone tell me what controlls the outside side view mirrors to defrost the frost or ice. At this time they do not work in the morning when there is frost or fog on them. Does the push button controll unit for the heat and a/c activate them automatically?

They are activated by the outside temperature and come on automatically when the temp is about +1C or so and below. I have no idea of how it all is activated, but the ACC unit is not involved.
