Bigger engine or super/turbo charger?

I was thinking of either getting a larger engine or installing a super or turbo charger on my E320. Which would be easier? I am assuming a turbo, but I may be wrong because I know nothing about them

Also, who makes them and what am I looking at $$$$ ?
