I recently had my left rear door panel removed on my 420 SEL to replace the door jamb, and now the door "creaks" going over bumps. Any "tightening up" suggestions to make this quieter? Frankly, it doesn't feel any looser than any of the other door panels.
Interior noise like these drive me nuts!

I presume that what you replaced was the door striker; the piece that the latch grabs. This is where the doors flush closing adjustment is. It sounds to me that the door isn't being latched far enough closed. The plate should be loosened and moved in till the door is exactly flush. This will provide the proper compresssion of the door seal to hold it rigid and not creak.

What I had relaced was the peice that keeps the door from flying open that connects between the door and the door pillar. The creaking sounds more internal than what I think you'd get from what you described, but I'll check.
