Knecht oil filters
 
Can anyone tell me if oil filters by Knecht are recommended for a - new to me - 94 E320? The car has 82,000 miles and is in great condition overall.

They're top rated as far as I'm concerned - the only oir filter I use.

Most popular seem to be Knecht, Hengst & Mann.
Usually end up with one of them from my local M-B dealer. ( Original M-B package );)

Mann and Bosch seem to be identical while Knecht is a somewhat different design. The Knecht seem to be of very high quality and maybe a bit heavier than the other two. I've used all three and will use whichever one I get when I order parts.

Mann, Hengst, Knecht--- all are OEM filters suppliers for MB, BMW, Audi, VW and Volvo.

Those are higher quality. I sell many of those in local.
