Mercedes Benz C280
Can anyone help me with the location of the oil filter on a 1998 MB C280? I can't seem to find it. Thanks

location of oil filter
If it is anything like my E320 then it faces upwards and is situated at the top and front of the engine, it is a polygon shaped black cup which you undo and the filter is inside there.

The 98 model year has the M111. Oil filter housing is at the front. Remove the black oil filter housing cap to get to it.

Its on the top of the engine and it has a black plastic top (its a cartidge type filter)
