What oil should I run?

Hi, I have a 93' 190E 2.6 and I was wondering what is the best oil to run. I live in Southern California and currently am running 20w50. Thanks in advance, Chris

Have used Castrol Syntec 5W50, changed every 5K miles, for the last 200K miles. Since new. Car works just like it did when new, and does not use any oil. I think this is a good thing.

I just put in Motul 6100 Synergie 5w40 synthetic in a 1995 E420!

P.S. I use 20W-50 too - whatever major brand API SL rating is on sale.

10W50.

Avg temps around here throughout the year between 26 to 33 deg C.
