Hello Board,

My 1987 300E has a weird problem. After a car wash, it misses at idle, and when I press the gas it hesitates badly. This problem will go on for about 30-45 minutes after the car has been washed. After that, I guess the water dries out. I suspect that some water is getting where it should not be going. When I wash my car I am careful to not even spray too much water on the hood,because this ALWAYS happens and somehow the car still misses and hesitates after a wash. Any suspected places that water could go and cause this to happen to my car???
