| Parts prices, right side, left side different

In looking at various MB parts in the catalogs I noticed that pieces that appear to be identical are priced differently, one price for the right side, another for the left side. Why the difference?

If they have different part numbers, it is because they are different. May look the same, but are probably more likely a mirror image, which which might account for the difference.

Often times, variations like that are the result of new stock/old stock situations. Left side may be old stock at the old price, but right side is new stock at the new (usually higher) price. Ron http://germanstar.net |
