94' E320 Blower regulator removal
 

I need to replace the regulator in this car and cannot get the regulator heat sink out of the blower box. I have removed the regulator, but cannot get the heat sink out from under the bottom cover. Does the bottom cover come out, or can it be flexed enough to bend it back and then remove it? I basically need to know how to get the part that the blower mount screws to out, which is located under the blower.
