W126 Sunroof quit working while half open, of course. In an effor to close it, I plugged the wrench into the manual override in the trunk & like an idiot kept cranking it after it hit the air deflector (which sticks open) and evidently broke the cable. Now I can't get the roof to move either way.

It is an '87 model with the tilting roof.

Where should I start????

Hi, are you still having trouble? I have a similar problem (mine won't open either) and I found some info whcih is helping me get started. Let me know if you still need help.
