E320 Remote not working
 

I have a co-woker that just bought a 96 E320 and the Remote Key is not working She has had a new battery installed but is still does not work. Is there a resync procedure that needs to be done to get it working again. She did not have the manual with her so I could not look it up. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Yes, it need to be resynchronized.
The way I believe it's normally done is to get in the car, turn the ignition to "ON" (don't start it), then OFF and remove the key, then get out and use the remote immediately.
