Vehicle is a '91 300-SEL. Research on this site indicates I have a 722.3 transmission.
On another WEB site I've read all sorts of horror stories about B2 pistons failing in early 80's thru early 90's 722.3 transmissions. - Is this device accessible after removing trans pan? - If fluid and filter are change annually & car is driven in a sane fashion, what is the likelyhood of failure? Thanks for your time. Mike Murrell Boerne, Texas |
