MB won’t sell me a new bearing for my air pump!

As I described in this thread http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?threadid=81495
I have for the time being removed the air pump on my E280. MB wont sell me a new bearing but wants me to buy the whole pulley including the bearing. The catch is that the unit costs app. 570$ witch to me seems ridiculous!
Does any one know how to get hold of this bearing?
