I am having a hard time starting my 1986 300E cold or hot. It will turn over for about 12 to 14 trys and almost start and then the battery dies. I charge the battery and try again and after 2 to 4 times of holding the key to the start it will start. Then its ok for a few days cold or hot and then this starts over again. SO CONFUSSED?
Does anyone think this is the fuel filter thats clogged or somthing wrong with the fuel injection. Where is the fuel filter located so I can change it myself. Any good books or softwere I can order on line to do my own repairs?
