Judder and thunk!
 

Help!

I've got two issues that are beginning to annoy.

First - when everything is "cold" ie first thing, when changing into 1st gear from neutral there is a nasty judder when is'nt there after 10 mins decent speed driving, it takes longer if in town. Is this the clutch?

Second - unless I change gears very smoothly, I get a slight "thunk" in the transmission which can be heard and felt, it does'nt matter which gear I'm in or changing to.

I take it I have wear in the system but which part is most likely?

All help appricated.
