Well I finally got my coolant flushed at the dealer. They didnt want to remove the drain block plug because they said they migth not be able to put it back onso they said they would flush it as best as they can and get about 90% of the fluid out. So they added close to 8 litres of Mercedes coolant in there about 7.75 litres to be more accurate but the coolant still looks green inspite of all that orange coolant. Is this going to be a problem? I even found a o-ring from the new radiator cap in the resovoir and the overflow hose leaking. The car would read at 100 C in idling and 90 c while driving. The car used to read 80 C while driving and between 90 and 100 C while idling. Will taking out the o-ring and tightening the hose fix it or is it because there is too much coolant in there? They charged me 120 in labour to do this.
I also put in 15W50 weight oil and the car runs a lot quiter now and the oil pressure is higher at idle. That is good, right? I used to use 5W40.
