Is there an easy spray-in type?

I've tried on an older Benz I had and never got doors to be quiet. They aren't so far gone that they make that popping noise.

Forget WD-40... Try white silicone grease.
It comes in a spray can, lubricates and protects in one spray. I've used it for years and it works great. Also used in door lock mechanisms (key holes) to prevent moisture buildup or icing over in harsh winter environments... works better than graphite or other solid lubes.

What model Benz? Some of them have grease fittings in the hinge pins which can be greased with a grease gun and needle point adapter.

White grease is fine for the greseable hinges which your car should have. Otherwise, if you can obtain it, Wurth HHS 2000 spray silicone is great stuff. Let me know if you'd like a can of the Wurth product, I can get it for you from the distributor, it's around $12/can I think.
