Engine Mount
 

Hi, just bought my first MB this week
a Nice 1973 450SE with 128000 and great shape
(So far)
It's a european model
Chassis number 116.032
I would like to change the engine mount but every where
I look they talk about chassis 029 or other
Is there an equivalency number i can use for future
purchase of parts
What is the equivalent of the 116.032 chassis in the states
(California)

Looks like we're neighbors. I'm not far from Great America.

AFAIK, all 450SEs are 116.032 whether US-spec or otherwise. A 116.029 is a 350SEL. Wonderful car but not officially sold in the US.

For parts, click on the FastLane or PartsShop links at the top of this page. Phil will sort it out for you. But I'd be comfortable ordering mounts for a US-spec 73 450SE.

Very little difference between a 116.032 US car and a 116.032 euro car in 1973. Even the bumpers are the same. The lights are different and possibly some upholstery.
