C230 K Spark Plug Replacement

I'm the proud new owner of a '00 C230K which I love. I purchased new spark plugs, but couldn't even find them on the engine to replace them

. I've always done minor tuneups on my cars. Is this a task for a novice--or do I need to take it to a professional MB mechanic? Thanks
