Has Xenon alignment setting been changed?
 

I have had 2 W210 models with HID. A 98 E430 and a 02 E55. I have had my E55 HID aligned at least 4 times and each time it looks the same - not right.

The right passenger lamp looks good - long and high with great right shoulder coverage. The left (driver) side is always short, low, more toward the right and barely covers the left road shoulder. The beams are not symmetrical.

The dealer always says nothing is wrong and they lamps are "SET TO SPECS"!

Have they changed the specs for HID lamps because many people complained about glare and being blinded? My left lamp is set to shine more inward and to the right. Is this a setting to avoid 'blinding' uncoming drivers? Thanks.
