I have an '88 260E with Euro headlights. What PIAA bulbs should I put in? I only really want the low-beam/high-beam (think they are the same bulb?) in the xenon-look (read PIAA <grin> ). Will this work well? Will anything work better? What wattage do I want? Thanks!

I use the Platinum Series 60/55w H4 lamp. There is another version that has a higher power rating, but i did not want any complicaton with my wiring. These lamps are bright enough anyway, much brighter than the stock Osrams that came with my Eurolamps.
though you don't ask for it, i would also recommend their amber foglamp - the H3 Ion Crystal lamp. It really makes a big difference. |

Hi
You could try one of these 2 lighting systems from Osram. 1. Osram Super (H4 60/55W) http://www.osram.com/chap_2/2_4/2_4_1/2_4_1_1/index.htm 2. Osram Cool Blue (H4 60/55W) http://www.sylvania.com/prodinfo/auto/cool/welcome.htm Please also see the FAQ for more info: http://www.osram.com/chap_4/4_8/4_8_2/index.htm I'm presntly using the cool blue for my 260E, and they look pretty white and cool.
