Almost rookie mistake...
I was just changing my oil on the '94 wagon and was pouring the new oil in when I thought I saw something from the corner of my eye other than oil come out of the plastic jug. I looked at the foil liner which I popped open and pushed back and it looked like all of it was there. Why don't funnels have built in filters or screens and do most of you filter the oil before pouring it? I'm nervous now. Would any foil pieces get trapped by the filter and spare the engine or would they block one of those little oil return holes?
