console gear indicator light bulb
 

Tried to change light bulb in gear indicator light and could not get it to work. You had to mash the bulb in hard to get light to come on. While sticking a small screwdriver in there to bend prongs for contact I shorted it out. Now none of my instrument lights work(Dash--electric window indicators or gear shift bulb. Checked # 6 fuse which says it powers brake light--- dome lights and instrument lights and the fuse is fine--interchanged it with another fuse. Brake lights work and dome light but no instrument light. Where to look for short. Wish my cd shop manuel would come in.
