Anyone have 500E springs on a 300E ???
Ok gang here's the question.
I just purchased 500E springs from vcci, these will replace my H&R's and be coupled with bilstein sports. (I was looking for a little more hieght and more cushion). I am trying to avoid having the front end higher than the rear. This could be tricky because I'm pretty sure that most of the difference in weight between the 500E and the 300E are in the engines. I need your help in deciding which spring pads to use. Glen has suggested I use a 2 bump up front and a 3 or 4 in rear. I am hoping maybe someone out there is running this set-up now and has been through what I am about to go through. The springs are going to be installed this week along with new front control arms. Thanks for your help!

All I can add is that the 500E has specialized shocks and struts. Not sure if 300E damping is compatible with 500E springs, regardless of engine wieght.
