93 400E Oil leak

I have a 93400e with 126k on it. In the past few months I noticed a burnt smell every time I pulled into garage. I got underneath the car and after some observation I found out that this was because a few drops of leaking oil ended up on the exhaust pipe. I noticed a metalpipe/hose which is connected to the oil pan was wet with oil and also a few droplets of oil gathered at the rearend of the oil pan. I am unable to tell if is the pipe that is leaking or if it is the oil pan gasket. The head gasket area, cam seals and valve cover gaskets all appear dry and clean. In the two years I've had this car this is the only problem I have experienced and I really love the M119. Any ideas or clues would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
