air conditioner will not engage
 

From out of nowhere.....

The a/c compressor will not engage no matter what setting, or temp selected. It was working just fine. I get warm air, to hot air from all vents. It does select defrost, economy, etc as usual, just warm to hot air depending on the temp selected on the temp selection wheel.

Fuses, that I have found are fine, even the ones for the engine cooling fans are OK.

I have pulled and reseated the connectors in the drivers headlight area.

Any further thoughts?

First step would be to put some a/c gauges on it and see what is up with the pressure. May be a little low on refrigerant.

Odds are very high that is indeed low on refrigerant. If that is the case, you need to check for leaks and recharge.
