400E Electronic Accelerator codes , help
 

Hi.

I have been having problems for the last 3 months with my car. What happens is it will just randomly go into limp home mode. Sometimes it triggers the ASR light ( and in turn turns off traction control) and sometimes it triggers no dummy lights.

It happens mostly at speeds above 70 and/or hard acceleration in the city, while holding it in first, second, or third.

I cleared out all of my codes in the computer. I went out, and with-in one city block I got it to do it again (limp home mode). I went back to my house, and pulled codes. This is what came up:

EA/CC/ISC module (pin 7 on interface):

code: 2 - EA/CC/ISC control module (N4/1)

code: 6 - Starter lock-out/backup lamp switch (S16/3)


Any ideas?? PLEASE HELP! ha.

I took it to my dealer a month ago and they said its because I need new tires, which I think is a crock.
