300E rear pillar trim

Does anyone know how the trim on the rear pillar (between rear

window and back glass). I assume there are clips in the trim that

go into the frame but need to know which way to push the trim

so I don't break any clips.

Thanks.

The trim needs to slide forward to release the clips. They'll likely break anyway if your experience is similar to mine.

Thanks Joe. Were you able to buy new clips or did you repair them? i.e. super glue?

Actually the flat plastic panel that backs the inside trim broke where the clips attach. I was very careful and think the PO or shop had broken them previously.

The only way I could see to repair them (other than new) was to use a heavy epoxy on the inside. I didn't bother and they are staying in place fine. Good luck!!
