500SEC belts

Hi. Just came here from a really crap site. My question is, is it worthwhile trying to repair the seat belt "offering" arms in a 500SEC or are they pointless gimmicks? Also, my headlight adjusters only operate in 1 and 2 modes, making sure the lights point at the ground.
Is there a quick fix here? Thanks.

not that tough

If your "offering arms" aren't working, just disassemble them, find the stripped or broken gear and replace it. Yes, their construction is a little cheesy for a MB, but you can handle it. There's no need whinging because no one has fixed it for you yet.

Er, sorry guys. I had had a terrible day and was as drunk as a parrot when I posted that. Does the comradeship of MB owners extend to forgiveness of human frailty?

The long answer: Yes. But only after a thorough, lengthy and remorse packed apology .

Could you specify the amount of remorse, length and thoroughness that might be appropriate? And how do I fix those damned arms?
