A160 Rear Spring Broken
 

My wife has a A-Class A160, which has just been serviced by a main dealer. They found that one of the rear coil springs was broken and needed to be replaced, but the car had only done 46k miles. Is this just a one off or has anyone come across the same problem. ??????

Probably won't find a terrible amount of A class owners around here but I can tell you that in my experience a broken spring is a rather rare occurrence. I would be curious if there are any other A classes that have had this problem. I am assuming it comes with a 50,000 mile warranty and is being replaced under warranty?

How do you like the A class? I'd seen one in Paris when they first came out but I did not driv one.
