'95 E300D Fuel leaks

I'm having to look into a fuel leak this evening on my '95 E300D. Does the intake manifold have to come off to be able to get in there? . Any gotcha's in this procedure?

My '95 E300D was just in the shop for a fuel leak. It was O rings on the fuel filter where the lines connected (not sure which). The shop took off the crossover pipe, but not the manifold itself. They were able to replace them easily.

Hardest job was finding the leak, they could see fuel dripping down the side of the block, but the source was difficult to pinpoint.

Rgds,
Chris W.

My fuel consumption has decreased at least 5% after fixing the leak! No more "eau d'Diesel" smell!
