stevebfl....non-mercedes question.
As you are into BMW's, I thought you may be able to answer this question for me.
It seems, everytime I see an older BMW model, they seem to run about 10 degrees negative camber on the rear wheels. Does that not cause havoc with tirewear? |
BMWs by design have a slight negative camber. and it is not adjustable. Only replacement of of trailing arm bushing would correct the problem. With age the camber increases and does wear the tires slightly. My experience comes from owning 13 BMWs and still have two. BMWs for life...

you should see my dad's 300E... It;s bad enough that his 15,000 mile tires are showing metal on the inside of them. I have the rear links ready to go in next week though.
