380SE climate control
 

I have checked the mono valve and it works ok. The ac also works fine. The symptom is the heater blows heat consistently and doesn't shut off when temperature is reached. The temperature control dial appears to be inoperative.

Is there a temperature sensor to check?

a burning rubber type smell seems to accompany the heater's failure to shut off....
