Digital Odometer,92 300se W140
Thanks for the answer on my previous questions, now I have
a general question related to the standard equipment on my 92 300se w140:I have all the books,no window sticker for the car,so,its hard for me to figure out what optional equipmet,if any, was installed in it? 1.I have a digital odometer,I noticed most of the 92-93 models have a mechanical one,was it optional? 2.Is there any way to obtain a copy of the original sticker with MSRP AND OPTIONS?(this car was purchased new in Indiana,in october'91 as one of the first w140 ever build/sold in US...) |
As to item #1: the only dash that has been available as a replacement for years has been a digital one. Once they became available that was all one could get. It wasn't an option it must have been a replacement.
Don't know much about item #2 inreguard to MSRP. The list of options the car had is available on the data card on the factory EPC (electronic parts catalog - it is of course necessary to know the type of equipment for determining the right replacement parts). I would be glad to send you a copy of yours if you send me a chassis number and a fax # (during the week). What I send will be a list of 3 didget codes. I will not have time to decifer them though. There are lists of code tables in the archives here to do the translation. |
Regarding question number 2,
If you call Mercedes USA's head office in New Jersey, and provide them with your vin# and registration, they will send you your original window sticker, aka Mulroney sticker, with all of the options your car was sold with. |
