Dallas meet pics: : lizem100; LarryBible; Suginami; 71Rcode
What a great bunch of guys. lizem100 - has, and I think this is close, 350k miles on the most beautiful 300Es I've ever seen. Talk about a true testament to the W124 longevity; knows what it takes to keep these cars on the road. LarryBible - has one of the m/t 3-series in the U.S. ('88 model); lived in Germany; loves the W123s; is a walking, talking MB repair manual (anyone have a tape recorder?) Suginami - California boy who lived in Japan for awhile; has infant twins (don't know how he made it out of the house alive, much less out of the state of CA); knows his W124; and is dedicated to keeping his 300E on the road FOREVER. 71Rcode - Obviously doesn't know how to take a decent photo; had a great time hanging out with this fine bunch of knowledgable guys! OK - here we are - from L-R: lizem100 (Eric); LarryBible (Larry); Suginami (Paul); 71Rcode (Chris) Had a great time, fellas. Let's do it again soon! 71Rcode |

Larry
Took me a little while to figure out what it says on your hat. Should have known........." Change it hot & change it often ".

Manny,
I got that hat at the MB Museum in Stuttgart. I'm very proud of it. If you saw my head without a hat, you would know why I'm always wearing one. G-Benz, That'll learn ya' durn ya'. Wish you could have been there. Have a great day, |

Maybe we should do better in taking car pictures at such gatherings. The only camera I had was my camera phone and it has no flash. It doesn't make a very good picture anyway. There have been a few good pictures of my 300E posted somewhere on here in the past.
Thanks for the reply, |

Like I posted in the other thread, I had a great time.
Once again, I'll be back in Dallas the first week of June. Let's try and meet up again for dinner on Friday, June 4. Mark it on your calender.

I've noticed that all 4 guys wear glasses
.. just like me hehe. In this digital age, everyone should have at least a good digital camera. I have a 5 Mpixels Canon and two 3.2 Mpixels Kodak. I have taken almost 20 thousand high resolution pictures, and sixty 1-hour miniDV videos (each video is converted to DivX/XviD MP4, MS WMV9, SVCD, and DVD) of my baby girl since she was born 13 months ago. Call me an addict baby photographer . I love babies and kids too much. I hope I would have the opportunity to meet many of you in the future. Eric |
