My 1985 300d starts and runs fine - can't shut it off - a problem with the fuel shutoff solenoid that I may have fixed. The problem is that I am afraid to test it without knowing the trick to kill the engine if it is still broken (a mess last time a had to kill it).
The service manual talks about a stop lever somewhere on the fuel injection pump. Just the ticket! I just can't find this lever on the pump!!! Can anyone describe where this magical fuel shutoff lever is?? Thanks a bunch ------------------ Bill [This message has been edited by Bill Steiner (edited 08-19-2000).] |
