Question Vacuum Amplifier, general questions..

Did some searching, turned up some but not much. Looked through my FSM and saw nothing.

I'd like some more info on the vacuum amplifier on the 85 and up cars. Came across one and I'd like to retrofit it to my 83 300D, in the continuing quest for imporved shifts.

What would be excellent is something from a w126 manual I guess, or a later revesion w123 manual. I mainly want to know if the bleed valve setting on the IP is the same, and what it's vacuum readings are suposed to be at given throttle positions. As I don't believe it will ever totally cut off vacuum to the modulator unless the throttle is about wide open AND the boost pressure is up. And the reverse of that. I can figure it out, but it will take a lot longer.

Thanks for any info...
