Reliability of 1995 C36 engine?

I've checked the archives on the M104 engine, and there seems to be a recurring theme of blown headgaskets and fried wiring harnesses.

Should I expect the same from a 1995 C36 engine which is basically a hot-rodded M104 (albeit by AMG)?
