'91 300E value suggestions
 

Hi all,

How much would you pay for a '91 300E with 193,000 miles?

It's has a dent on the rear left quater panel and rust on front right side of the hood. The interior is pretty clean. Tires about 60%. I've looked at the blue book but just wanted to know what anyone thought of the damages.

Considering the problems that you stated,, Take at least $1000.00 off the lowest blue book price.

I paid $5200 for my late '91 300e with 192,000 on it. (and no dents:))

I paid $6000 for my 1991 300E with only 150k on it

A clean one is worth $2K wholesale.. should do like $3,500 retail if it's clean. I am selling an 83K mile 1990 with cosmetic needs and I want in the upper 5s.

Mine is a 1990 300E, 320K. Extremely clean (Garage kept). Problems were 1, Hard start (Cold Start Valve), 2, Smokey exhaust (Valve guide seals) and 3, Bad Compressor and condensor. I Paid $1,500 for the car. It cost me about $1,300 for parts stated above. Car is now super nice and I have around $2,800 in it. But, you must consider that I did the repairs myself. If the cosmetics were not as nice as they are, I would have passed the car. I guess it would now be worth around $5,000.

320k eh? I know that's not much on a diesel, but good to know that even gas engines will do that kinda milelage. Hopefully mine has a good few years left in her yet (touch wood) :)
