Small Tranny Leak -300E
 

Hello Out there in MB land!!
I have a 300E with 222,000 miles on it's back with a tranny that leaks about a thimble full of oil after sitting a day or so. TheTransmisson was recently serviced(6 months) and before had showed no signs of leaking. My X-MECHANIC said he did nothing wrong and it is problbly leaking from somewhere else. Where would that be and what problems(huh. er...solutions....rather) am I in for?:)

ask your mechanic to revisit torque applied to tranny sump.
