126 wood between seats removal
I would like to know the easy and non damaging way to remove the wood panel that the window switches are in. I just got the car recently and the 2 right switches don't work. Actually the right rear works but backwards and the frt. right not at all, but it looks as though someone went there before and didn't put it back together correctly. The 2 right switches also are not up in position all the way and are not snapped in. I need to get this apart and fixed right and back together. I would be grateful for any help. Thanks EM

1) Pull out ashtray and remove the tray
2) You'll see two screws, remove them. Then pull out entire ashtray assembly, but remember to unplug the wires that go to cig lighter 3) Remove the small coin tray directly in front of wood. It should just pop out. 4) Slide wood forward and lift up. You'll have to reach underneath it as you lift up and unplug everything. The switches are mounted to the wood via a stapled on plastic switch holder. Hope this helps!
