S55 Automatic Wipers
 

The automatic setting on my windscreen/windshield wipers, has stoppedworking, the car is an S55 (2003) W220.

Normallyyou twisted the stalk to the first setting and the ipers would go once and then work automatically depending on how much rain or snow there was, now twist the to position one and they just sweep once. :(

Can they be reset ?

time to go to the dealer. could be a malfunctioning rain sensor. any gremlins with your automatic light function or the COMMAND lighting?

Lights are fine, command lighting works Ok.

Make sure that your wipers are cleaning the windshield well. The sensor is right behind your rearview mirror. If there is residue left on the windshield it will keep wipping to clean it..........or you can have a bad sensor or something related. Its worth a look.
