Two interior lighting problems;

1)sun visor lights work intermitently, there is no pattern to when they will and won't.

2)I had the instrument pod out to do the Lock-Tight repair to the slipping odometer drive gear (worked like a charm) and when I put everything back I have no lights in the A/C, window switchs,shifter, etc. Lights in pod (speedo etc.) work. I've obviosly knocked something adrift but if i can fix it without disconecting the speedo and pulling the pod all the way out I'll be greatful.

Question 1:

There should be 2 metal contacts at one of the visor hinges. Try to use alcohol to clean the contact. I assume your car is late model which most of them use this type of electrical connection.

Question 2:

I don't know the answer.
