renewing vacuum lines 91 560 SEL

I am trying to replace all vacuum lines as they are already brittle with age. I tried to wiggle one and it just broke into several pieces. It seems doable except for 3 lines that go under the fuel distributor. any ideas on how to get to those that are under the fuel distributor? other than the obvious - removing the fuel dist???

thx

It can be done but with much patience and a few crafty tools, long curved needle nose pliers and possibly a few surgical tools, if you can get hold of some.

If you have a clogged EGR tube then you might as well pull the entire intake and do the whole deal. Just get ready to replace a lot of brittle rubber hoses, sensors, tubes and other odds and ends.
